That's an idea. I have found good chocolate chip recipes that mimic tates cookies or other chocolate chip cookies with gluten-free for without an issue. I have seen recipes from chef Alina looping whisk etc that have gluten-free flour but they are trial and error. I guess I will have to mix and match. I made my own flour using flax meal corn flour potato... -
I have seen numerous gluten-free flours in stores then 1to1 cup substitute and numerous gluten-free recipes from gluten-free cooking websites that have great recipes but even making my own blend it seems like its not easy to get a fool proof flour substitute for cookies, cakes. I know bread is a bit different but this is more of a science to figure out. I...

xxnonamexx replied to xxnonamexx's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I also read this which some recommended as well: NASPGHAN recommends eating roughly 2 servings of gluten, equivalent to 2 slices of wheat-based bread, daily for 6-8 weeks prior to testing. -
My dr. stated to eat gluten for 4 weeks before bloodtest. I feel so much better w/o gluten and was going to wait until after the summer vacation but hesitating since reading the antibodies might go away etc. and if I can get it over with before hand especially before daughters graduation next month and before summer might be nice.
