I noticed regular oatmeal sometimes after eating or 1-2 hrs later I gotta go but on gluten-free no urgency.     I have seen alot of great recipes but when it comes to gluten-free flours its pricy for 3lbs of gluten-free flour. I also noticed increase in sugars in gluten-free products recipes. What have you been using to lower sugar contect and keep costs down in purchasing gluten-free ingredients to bake/cook yourself.

    It appears when ging out with friends to a restaurant that doesn't have Gluten free menu salads appear the safest bet worst case scenario. I also read CHick Fil a Grilled chicken is gluten free and you can ask for a gluten-free bun.

    Thanks so the blood test will tell if I need to take endoscopy to check damage done? The villi grows back over time. I am on elimination diet and don't feel like eating gluten for 6 weeks to take the blood test since I have vacations planned with my family and would love to feel good for the summer then after I will go for it.     Thanks I figured that much as a dietician won't be of much help. Since summer is coming and in 6-8 weeks I will be on vacation with my family I think I will maintain my gluten free diet and not get tested yet as it appears eliminating glute is helping me and for a test to say your right isn't going to hep me much.     Thanks so much for the useful information. What do you mean by invasive, expensive procedure that has some medical risks attached to it, what risks? It appears to be like colonoscopy just other end but never had one so curious in case I need one what to expect thanks

    Is the blood test required before endoscopy? Can it just go to endoscopy to test. Or would you need to be in gluten diet either way. Can you also be gluten sensitive but not sensitive to cross contamination? Thanks

    I just don't want to eat too much gluten and get sick for 6 weeks before the test. I would rather eat just enough for the test and not over gluten. I guess 2 slices of whole wheat which I was having and my regular oatmeal may work which was my previous routine and pasta but that's about of gluten daily lol I will have to see not sure about buying our gluten...

    If I feel better after eliminating gluten from my diet I am curious if I get diagnosed via blood test what would that tell me differently besides avoiding gluten? Also if I had to do an Endoscopy and took biopsy how would that help me besides to tell me avoid gluten strictly?     I have seen Glutenease Mary Ruth Gluten Digestive enzyme with high ratings on Amazon but curious what this actually does to help intolerance with gluten? Has anyone tried these products? Thoughts.
