Nervous Tics from Gluten Contamination?

Recommended Posts

My 7 year old was diagnosed celiac 3 years ago. Over the past year or so, he sporadically gets these nervous tics, and the most recent one has coincided with a known gluten contamination episode - I didn't notice if previous tics were linked to contamination.

So, my question is - has anyone else had something similar happen to them?

Thanks.

I've never had tics from gluten exposure but ask your child's Dr. about undiagnosed strep throat and tics! Or a magnesium deficiency....very common in kids with celiac

Thank you. I think Magnesium might be a good idea.
