Gluten free food Help for those isolating with Covid symptoms?

I am having trouble locating help for gluten free food in our small town of Sequim, Washington. Our household is currently isolating due to Covid symptoms. The food banks have said they will let us know if they get donations in, but they don’t have much for us. With no income for the last week, we are scarce after depleting our savings and unsure of how to locate help and still isolate. We get Snap but not until the 17th.  Are there any resources you guys know of that we might be able to reach out to? Thank you for your time.

The Gluten Intolerance Group is based in Seattle, WA, perhaps you could contact them to see if they know of anything in your area?

Thank you! I have reached out to them on Friday, and they have given my contact information to someone who might know where I could find help. They said they would be back in the office tomorrow. I also contacted celiac.com- who recommended I post in the forum. I hope I put my post in the right category. I appreciate your help!

I volunteer at a food pantry as well as getting food stamps. They should have stuff you can eat. They may not get much in the way of gluten free baked goods but they should have stuff like canned veggies and fruits. We get Ball Park franks and bologna which are both labeled gluten-free as well as some cut up and whole chickens and pork chops. Canned Dinty Moore beef stew and canned tuna are staples as are frozen ground beef. This time of year we also get plentiful amounts of fresh veggies from the local farmers as well as milk from local dairys and cryopacked milk. At present we prebag food for families and if your local pantry does that just tell them no bread and give non-safe items to freinds or neighbors. Don't be afraid to send someone there or if you have a case worker sometimes they can pick stuff up for families that are isolating. We have one who comes on a regular basis for her clients. Once the volunteers get to know you and your restrictions you may find they will put stuff aside for you. We sometimes get donation of gluten free pastas and flours. I have enough dry pasta to last me a year at this point once the other volunteers learned of my restriction.  If you are sending someone call the Pantry first so they know the person is picking it up for you.  I hope you can get some help. No one should have to go hungry.

@Jmmahall I just learned about this non-profit with this mission "We're on a mission to deliver gluten-free foods to those in need across America."

My dad had an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.  Fortunately, it was discovered during an exam.  The doctor could feel my dad's heart beating in his stomach.  The aneurysm burst when the doctor first touched it in surgery.  Since he was already hooked up to the bypass machine, my dad survived ten more years.  Close call! Triple A's can press on the nerves in the spinal cord causing leg pain.  I'm wondering if bowing the head might have increased the pressure on an aneurysm and then the nerves.   https://gulfcoastsurgeons.com/understanding-abdominal-aortic-aneurysm-symptoms-and-causes/ Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Presenting as a Claudication https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4040638/

You have an odd story there. To me, the mechanical trigger suggests a mechanical problem and lower leg pain is a classic sciatica symptom. The fact that the clear mechanical linkage is no longer there does not take away from the fact that it was - maybe something shifted and the simple alignment is no longer there. There's also a good chance I am wrong and it's something else entirely. @Scott Adams's mention of shingles is interesting. It seems possible but unlikely to me, but who knows. However, I am writing here to reinforce the idea of getting the shingles vaccine. Ask anyone who has ever had shingles and they will bend your ear telling you how bad it is. I watched my wife go through it and it scared the bejeebers out of me. Even if you had the chicken pox vaccine, you really want to get the shingles vaccine.

Oddly this effect has gone now, just happened yesterday evening, the nerve pain is now back to its usual "unpredictable" random self again - but that was the only time I ever had some mechanical trigger for it, don't know why! There's no (or wasn't) actual pain in my neck - it was inside the leg, but when I looked down, now though, the leg pain just comes and goes randomly as before again.

I had MRI scan a few years ago showing everything normal, and now it's no longer triggering the nerve pain when I bow my head today - it only seemed to happen yesterday, and that was the only time it happened! Just seemed weird as no movement has caused my usual nerve pain before. It's normally just random.

Very good pizzeria with small dining room in back of the restaurant. The owner's daughter has celiac & they have gluten free pizza & a gluten free menu. Some items from the regular menu can be made gluten free also. They have a lunch menu which we ordered from & my chicken with spinach & mozzarella over gluten-free penne was delicious. They also have Tuesday night pasta specials & Thursday night chicken pasta specials. We plan on going back for dinner soon.
