my dr. wanted to do this, but my insurance wouldn't cover it, so i opted not to do it; it was too expensive. he wanted to use it to have a baseline reference of what my small intestine looked like -- it wasn't to be diagnostic. supposedly it's painfree and very precise.

I had this done about two years ago. I had no problems with it and never noticed when I passed it. It took about two weeks to get the results. It was knd of cool looking like the bionic woman with the little pack attached to my side.

Yes, I had it done a couple months ago. It's an excellent diagnostic tool that is painless and easy. I would prefer this any day to a barium test.

After a negative biopsy and negative bloodwork, normal colonoscopy and normal barium tests, the capsule test was able to find ulcerations in my small intestine that otherwise would not have been found.
