Do you have questions about celiac disease or the gluten-free diet?

Hi All:

I have extremely sensitive to sugar for a long time, and discovered recently that I have Celiac. I've been gluten-free for about five months except for a couple mistakes, and have never felt better.

Still very sensitive to sugar, however....causes burning sensations in my face, near-immediate acne, and general discomfort and loaginess....how many of you have experienced this, and do you find that you can tolerate moderate amounts again?

Thanks in advance...

My son-in-law and one of my daughters were diagnosed to be intolerant to sugar. I don't believe my son-in-law has celiac disease, my daughter may have it. I think it is an entirely separate issue from celiac disease, as in a true intolerance or allergy, and you should probably avoid it for life (of course, I might be wrong, but your experience seems to verify my opinion).

Use honey, maple syrup or stevia instead, those are healthier options anyway.
