there is a thai resturant there called "red basil" i usually eat at.

also "miguel's stowe away" is a mexican resturant that is gluten-free friendly...a little pricy, but they are very careful about cc.

try this:

http://www.gostowe.com/dining/map.php

i find with stowe that they are willing to please their customers and its a small town and the chefs are less busy.

vermont in general is like that.

people here actually care if you tell them you will get sick.

you could also look at that map and maybe call a few resturants ahead of time.

are you coming up to see the leaves? they are already starting to turn and they are beautiful!!!!

Hi - Thanks for your response. We have a house at Smugglers and I've been going up there for my entire life. Anyway, we've been up since my daughter's Celiac diagnosis but it's been difficult to eat out. A few restaurants have tried their best but it's hard. So, I was just wondering if there were any restaurants that definitely had a gluten free menu. I know where Red Basil is...where is Miguel's? We go up all the time...I love it. Thanks!

miguels is on the mountain road.. defintly up higher.. i think its past topnotch resort and everything,..up on the right i believe.

i know..i dont like eating out either.. i feel like even when they try i get scared .

but i never have a problem with thai food.

but you cant really eat that every night..

i usually just go to the store and cook at home/hotel room.
