Slight Reactions

What kind of reactions do you guys get when you get only slightly glutened? Like, for example, when you accidently eat something that has some gluten based additive.

What kind of reactions do you guys get when you get only slightly glutened? Like, for example, when you accidently eat something that has some gluten based additive.

My daughter reacts the same way--same intensity--with a crumb as she does with a slice of bread. The only main difference we've seen is duration. The more gluten she gets, the longer she is sick and the longer the extraneous symptoms last (emotional meltdowns, leg pains). When it is an accidental thing (like when her brother handed her a grape after he ate toast), the GI symptoms lasted only a few hours and she was fine. When she got glutened at school 3 times in 2 weeks, she was an emotional wreck and it triggered a chain reaction of awful hip pain, bloating, dark circles under eyes.
