Thanksgiving Is Coming

Recommended Posts

Hi-

I guess I'm just looking for some tips on what foods are relatively "safe" to eat at a typical Thanksgiving dinner. Last night I went to a thanksgiving party with a group of friends and I had turkey (I think I accidentally took the turkey that was deep fried), a couple different potato dishes, cranberry, and sweet potatoes, and I'm sure I was glutened. I am exhausted and can hardly think straight today. Are there certain Thanksgiving foods that are genuinely safe and shouldn't have gluten in them? I have 2 more Thanksgiving dinners to attend, and I'm just trying to get prepared. Thanks!

First of all, eat before you go, and then you aren't starving when you get there. Then i wouldn't trust anything that is cooked, only fresh fruit and vegetable salads - nothing else coz of cc. Good luck
