Can Gluten Intolerance Be Cured?

I have been gluten intolerant since last November. I was 13, turning 14 in like 2 months.

I was tested for Celiac and didn't have it. The doc said since I felt better gluten free, I should just eat gluten free and assume I was gluten intolerant.

When I ate gluten, I'd feel bloated. Id get these circles under my eyes (if I ate a lot). I'd get a stomachache and sometimes a rash. It wasn't that bad.

Ok so lately I've been kinda careless. Like yesterday, we went out for fondue. I was with friends and I didn't wanna make a big fuss about being gluten free. There was Worcestershire sauce and beer in the cheese fondue. I ate it and was completely fine!! There was cheesecake with crust, and rice krispie treats for chocolate fondue. I ate it and was completely fine. It's been like 24 hours since then and i feel completely fine.

Could my gluten intolerance have gone away? Ive been gluten free for 10 months and I'm just shy of 15 years old

Sometimes it seems to "go away" which has led some doctors to think children can outgrow it. But from what I have learned, it may be masked during the teenage years due to high hormone levels. It comes back as an adult, and seems to be worse then.

Also, please be aware that the delay from eating gluten and having a reaction to it varies greatly. For some it is almost immediate; for others it can be one to two days. For me, it seems to be 8 to 12 hours--but I am pretty careful so there are not many samples to draw from.
