  1. Whoa!.....This is like walking back into my old home or school..... And lookit all the new emojis! ???⚽??????
  2. This is a great microcosm of the other babes-leaving-the-nest-and-learning-to-fly scenario that happens at this time of year, and is happening in my world. Son Jack has just graduated from high school and is organizing himself for his big move to university residence in Toronto. ((((Sigh)))).....Suddenly, empty nest..... I think Jack may plunk onto a couple...
  3. Hey....THIS article has photos..... http://www.bustle.com/articles/29080-american-student-gets-stuck-in-vagina-sculpture-in-germany-reinforces-our-reputation-abroad?utm_source=FBTraffic&utm_medium=fijifrost&utm_campaign=CMfacebook
  4. Man.....too bad he didn't have a sturdy string comin' out of his feet.....Any woman would have easily been able to extract him....
  5. There is, absolutely, a brilliantly hilarious reply to/summation of this story.....just gotta think of it....
  6. I think of Shroooomie ALL the time.....and I try to use this adage every time I can -- to try to let her know that she really does live on 'round here......
  7. I believe we're allowed 7 characters up here........"SPELING" would be even more hilarious....
  8. Mr. Durwood is on his deathbed and knows the end is near. His nurse, his wife, his daughter and 2 sons, are with him. He says to them: "Paul, I want you to take the Shaughnessy houses." "Valerie, take the condos over in Coal Harbour and False Creek." "Mike, I want you to take the offices over in the City Centre." "Mildred, my dear wife...
  9. The funniest routine I've seen dealing with the shakeweight was done by Ellen Degeneres.....She brought one out during her opening monologue, started shaking it and, wide-eyed, said, "Wow.....I'VE never used these particular muscles before!".....
  10. Well.....now that you mention it......several wheelchair-bound residents did have different-looking hair.....and you know, I think some of the men had shorter trousers, as well....
  11. This does make some sense -- different cutting jobs call for different sized scissors, and in a good-sized house you need a couple of pairs in each area. My mom was in a small bachelor.....and what was she cutting? Well.....paper.....(?).....her hair?..... .....What does an eighty-six year old lady cut? Like, all day? And requiring 14 pairs of scissors,...
  12. Gawd....do we have a single, working, Luddite-style battery-operated flashlight in this house?.... ... . ...there certainly isn't one in my car..... Yes, during power outages we simply stumble about....'Tis quite funny, really... My mom has always had a slight OCD inclination, and the stroke she had three years ago has ramped this up a notch. We...
  13. Omg......I am exactly, ridiculously, frighteningly the opposite. Do I actually even have ONE ice scraper in my car?.... ....not sure......Umbrella?....Jumper cables?....emergency candles/blankets.....?.....I would be a pathetic mess if suddenly stranded on an isolated stretch. And my PURSE, well......no feminine products (actually, got them in my gym bag...
  14. WELL, HEY!!! Psillyville stirs again! Hmmmm......joke.....joke....let's see..... Well, this is from real life: at the entrance to the funeral home/cemetery near me, the big, austere, stone-surrounded sign at the main entryway says, "Drive carefully.....we'll wait"....
  15. I have been doing this classic recipe gluten-free for a couple of years, now...everybody loves it so much that they insist on having it now for Christmas dinner, in place of the mashed potatoes. I do it in the slow cooker, on low for about eight hours -- this frees up space in my challengingly-sized oven.....and no more potatoes to stand and peel. It's all...
  16. What a beautiful video, Vyncenght....Thanks for sharing that -- the perfect thing to watch early on Christmas morning. MERRY CHRISTMAS, PSILLIES!!!
  17. WOOO HOOOOO, Loweeeee! Good for Tony -- what a smart kid you have. Any scholarship possibilities? ( I ask because know that he is bloody brill)....
  18. This is excellent........ Man, I wish that modern cars were anything BUT gluten-free....wouldn't it be great if wheat could be the base for a gasoline type (like corn is) and the world could start using it to fuel our vehicles and heat our homes? Get it out of our food system..... Yeah, that would be good.....
  19. I'm pretty sure it has to be on the internet first.....at least, that's the only way I've been able to do it. I've put a pic on fb, then copied the location and pasted it here...
