  1. Trents, Thanks for the reply, and providing an important reminder that gluten damage can be silent. In my case, I recently had biopsy confirmation that my celiac is well controlled, so at least long term damage from inflammation seems minimal.
  2. As always, be cautious of cross contamination (always mention gluten allergy and/or celiac to the staff), but I have had good luck in the past at a couple of local Cracker Barrel restaurants. I am a diagnosed celiac for over 8 years and I am fortunate to not be overly sensitive. It is not on their menu, but they prepare a very good omelet. I usually get one...
  3. I buy Malt O Meal Crispy Rice from the local (NE Ohio} Marc's stores. It is labeled gluten free and I have had no problems with it, and I am celiac. The flavor is very close to original Kellogg's Rice Crispies. The only downside is it might get soggier sooner - just eat fast! Gary
  4. Taste is truly objective, I realize, but I found Van's waffles and pancakes to be inferior, not taste-wise, but in texture to Eggo. I just tried Nature's Path with about the same result. Personally, I find Eggo and Giant Eagle's Nature's Basket brands to have better texture, as well as tasting good. Gary F.
