I have not been feeling well for the last 2 months with morning stiffness, muscle soreness and I do not sleep well. I have no trouble falling asleep but it is not a deep sleep. I think I may have Fibromyalgia. I am scheduled to see my GI doctor which is part of the Celiac Disease Center in NYC on June 8th but i am thinking I need to check this out also. I am so upset and frustrated the way I feel. I have always been active and worked out and now I can hardly lift any weights for the past 3 months.

I have fibro also and It has gotten alot better since going gluten-free. I still get episodes that put me down but nothing like I had before being gluten-free. I know its hard but try to keep moving and I agree its depressing at time to say the least.......

hope you get feeling better soon

I found that my fibromyalgia was caused by a combination of an intolerance to gluten, lectins and salicylates. When I firmly stay away from everything I am intolerant to, I feel so much better, it's like day and night. You may have other intolerances as well.

Cutting out the foods that cause your pain, stiffness, brain fog and the other million symptoms of fibro sure beats being on painkillers 24/7 (I was on codeine for four years, but don't need it any more).
