I decided to have the doctor fax it to me so I could do my own research until I get my biopsy. Does this mean anything to any of you? Thank you for your time. Sorry I ask so many questions. :(

IgA - 78-391 mg/dL -144

This is your serum IgA level and it is normal. A deficiency is a red flag when testing for Celiac as it would make all the other IgA related tests pretty much be false negatives.

Endomysial IgA Abs -<1:10

Either they didn't run it or something was left off as there it no number here. I think usually it says positive or negative titer.

Gliadin IgG Abs - Low: < 20 Units -49(H)

This one is positive, but can be inconclusive when it is the only positive antibody test for Celiac, since apparently other things can make your IgG antibodies elevated.

Gliadin IgA Abs - Low: < 20 Units -23(H)

This one is also positive and supports the reaction to gluten in conjunction with the positive Gliadin IgG Abs.

Transglutaminas IgA - Low: < 20 Units -4

This one is negative, and many doctors would want to see it be positive before they give you a diagnosis, but it may just mean that the damage is not yet extensive enough to cause this to be elevated to positive levels.

A biopsy would be the next step in the diagnosis process, and then a trial gluten free diet is in order. But keep in mind that should you choose to try the diet first before the biopsy it can mess up the biopsy results. It is best to keep eating gluten on a regular basis until then. When is your biopsy scheduled?

THANK YOU for taking the time to go over these with me. My biopsy is August 22nd. I just so wanted it to be Celiac so I could have an answer to my problems and a way to feel better. It is not that I want a disease, I just am sick of hearing that nothing is wrong with me when I feel so badly. I was sure I had it, then the GI told me based on the results he did not think I did. I was so frustrated. I do believe I will try to go gluten free no matter what the results are. Again, thank you. Oh and the Endomysial IgA Abs -<1:10, had no reference, but that appeared to be my result. I thought...

Hi,

Just got back my blood test results today. I have been gluten-free for 15 months after positive biopsy.

gliadin abs, iga 1 (0-4 neg, >4 pos)

gliadin abs igg 1 (0-9 neg, > 9 pos)

ttg iga 1 (0-3 neg, 4-10 weak pos, >10 pos)

ttg igg 1 (0-5 neg, 6-9 weak pos, >9 pos)

endomysial iga 266 (70-400 )

These tests done by LabCorp in Burlington N.C.

According to these results your ttg iga with a value of 4 was a weak positive.

Unfortunately every lab uses it's own method of testing and different referrence numbers. You need to go by the numbers on your own test results. Some labs dilute the sample more and then have a different (usually smaller) number needed to be positive since the sample is diluted at a different rate. That is why some labs have a positive result being over 10, others are positive over 20 and still others are over 30...

Why there can't just be one standard method is beyond me. It would be a lot less confusing. <_<

Sciatica came to mind for me as well. You might want to get some imaging done on your C-spine.

Maybe this is sciatica? When mine acts up a little, I switch my wallet from one back pocket to the other. this isn't a substitute for more serious medical help, but for me it's a bandaid.

OK so I just learned something completely new about this for the first time in years, that is REALLY WEIRD. One of my nerves that likes to "burn" or whatever is doing it every time I bow my head! I mean it is completely repeatable. Literally every time. Once my head goes beyond a certain angle *boom*. Nerve goes mental (lower right leg pain). What the hell. I've never seen a direct trigger such as this before that I can recall. The pain was the usual type I get from this problem - I suspect somehow the head movement was interrupting descending inhibition processes, causing the pain to leak through somehow.

I've only made this a couple of times but it's really easy and I love the flavor. If you can, use all of the ingredients to get the full palette of flavors. I use fresh or canned tomatoes and I don't worry about peeling them. If you don't have harissa, there are replacement recipes online. If you don't have the greens, I suggest adding a little chopped baby spinach or celery leaves to add a dash of green color to this red dish. Best eaten in first couple days because flavor tends to fade. Leftovers are still good, but not as vibrant. Ingredients 2 medium eggplants, partially peeled and cut into cubes (original recipe says 1 in, but I prefer 1/2 to 3/4 in) 2 tomatoes, peeled and crushed 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced 1 tablespoon fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons spicy harissa (I use Mina brand) 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice 1 tablespoon tomato paste (optional) Salt to taste Preparation     • Heat olive oil in skillet or pot over medium heat. Add all ingredients and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook on low heat for an additional 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.       • Serve warm or cold as a side or with bread for dipping. Enjoy! Original recipe is here, if you want to see photos: mina.co/blogs/recipes/zaalouk-moroccan-eggplant-salad

I checked consumer labs that I'm a member of they independently check products for safely and claims the wolfs was rated great and bobs redmill buckwheat cereal. Ultra low gotten no dangerous levels of arsenic heavy metals, mold, yeast etc. plus they mention to refrigerate. I wonder if the raw buckwheat they rinse bc it's not toasted like kasha. Toasted removes the grassy taste I have to try the one you mentioned. I also bought Qia which is a quinoa mixed got great reviews.
