Another Grandchild On The Way

Ursa Major

My second daughter, who had a baby girl this May, just told us that she is expecting a 'surprise package' for July 30th of next year! Even though it wasn't planned, and she had planned on going back to work next year, they are happy. They'll manage somehow, I'm sure.

That is really funny. When her older sister was six months old, I got pregnant with her, because I believed that you can't get pregnant while you're breastfeeding (some older women had told me that). She doesn't have that excuse, but she is following my example, as the age difference between her babies will be exactly the same as the one between her and her older sister.

So, she will be eight months pregnant at her younger sister's wedding (in June). At least she will be able to be there.

I am going to have eight grandchildren at the age of 54, not bad. And I hope there'll be many more to come. :D

Congratulations.

I always told my sons, that I did not want to be a grandmother before 40, obviously they have listened too well, as I am nearly 50 and no grandchildren!

I am so envious of you, but I am so happy at the same time.

My grandmother, who lived till she was ninety based her success in her later years on the amount of granchildren she had, and then the amount of great grandchilren. She was so proud of each and every one of us and took pride in telling everyone how many there were out there.

All the best

Cathy

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
