There are a couple of products with "wheat starch" listed. You can check the "Consumer's Guide to Ingredients" a book that consultants can buy from the company, if you are a consultant, or you can have your consultant look it up.

She can also go to the InTouch website (the consultant website) and go to "Product Knowledge" and click on "Ingredients" and look up by 1) Ingredient or 2) Product. She can look up what you use, or general terms like "wheat" and it will list everything that wheat is in.

You can also contact Mary Kay yourself, at 1-800-MARY-KAY, and they will send you a generic letter, and that letter will tell you to avoid just about everything, because they don't want to "speak for their vendors" so they just cover their legal butts. But if you look up the ingredients on the website or their ingredient book, then most things are ok.

The nail polish is not gluten-free. The old mascara was not gluten-free, but that one is discontinued now, so I doubt you are using that one....what else...I can't remember them all....just ask your MK Consultant.

Fermentation breaks down some of the gluten in wheat. Nowhere enough for a wheat dough to become gluten free, but the gluten may be significantly reduced. I think some pizzerias make the dough the day before and leave it overnight. The longer the microbes are acting on the flour, the better.

I am M 21 and I diagnosed myself after a week of fasting and slowly reintroducing stuff in my diet except gluten, I had terrible eczema scars ,dandruff and brain fog, now I am free after 6 years of just pain, I am 6'2, will I grow taller? And since I am a gymnast will my muscles grow like quicker, cause before no matter how effort I put in I just couldn't.

And the fact is, no two celiacs will necessarily respond the same to gluten exposure. Some are "silent" celiacs and don't experience obvious symptoms. But that doesn't mean no harm is being done to their gut. It just means it is subclinical.

Thank you, Trents.  I appreciate your helpful and friendly reply. It seems more likely to be a bug.  It has been a pretty severe bought. I feel that I don’t have enough experience to know what signs my little one shows after exposure to gluten.
