Amazon Groceries

I read an article the other day that said amazon .com is now selling non-perishable groceries. I went to the site to check it out, and the first items that came up (without any prompting) were gluten free products. They have quite a selection, but warning many items must be purchased in bulk. Maybe if you have friends with celiac, you could go in together on the cost.

I am disappointed in my local Target store. They carried some arrowhead mills products and some others that I like, but a few months ago they put them on clearance and discontinued them. As much of it that I purchased, I can't believe that they did it.

I wrote the corporate office and they said that they couldn't guarantee anything. And today, the products are still not being offered at my store.

Celiac is just so costly. And, the local nutrition stores charge an arm and a leg for products that are probably very cheep to produce.

Just a little Frustrated....

Thanks! I just checked it out. I searched "gluten-free" in the pull-down menu for groceries and the selection is great. It pulled 510 items. When you break down the prices per item, it's not too bad.

And right before the holidays they had everything on sale plus a $10 coupon!! I ended up getting things for about 1/3 of what I'd pay in the store. (Of course, now i have three *cases* of cookies laying around...) :P
