There was a study that showed McCann's to be contaminated as well. Given the other studies showing that a non-trivial percentage (something like 20%?) of celiacs DO appear to produce antibodies to avenin, I don't even bother trying the stuff...

I've heard that oats are themselves gluten-free but they are contaminated. I for one don't use oats no matter where they come from. Pretty much all oats that have been tested have been highly contaminated with wheat.
