Am I Doing It Backwards?

I had self diagnosed myself with gluten intolerance a while ago but have been cheating now and then. I started having stomach pains and had an endoscopy done. The found red irritation in the stomach and did a biopsy. I was told I might have celiac and that I needed to have a blood test done (waiting on the results).

From what I have read here, it sounds like usually it's done the other way around - blood test first and biopsy second. So is my blood test meaningless, especially considering the fact that I hadn't been consuming much gluten?

You may still have a weak positive on the bloodwork but you could very well have a false negative. No matter what the results you should get on the diet strictly so you can heal.
