Converting Bread Machine Recipe To Oven

How can I convert a bread machine recipe to an oven recipe? Is it really necesary to own a mixer or can the dough/batter be mixed by hand?

I'm at sea level. And I have a gluten-free cookbook with bread machine recipes.

I'm at sea level. And I have a gluten-free cookbook with bread machine recipes.

I made exactly one loaf of yeast bread with my hand-held mixer and it was almost impossible. The batter kept climbing the beaters. It was at that point that I bought a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer, which is probably one of the best things I've bought since going gluten-free. For quick breads, muffins, etc. I still use my hand-held.

Sorry, I've never had a bread machine so have never tried converting a recipe. But I think it could be done without too much trouble.
