Rate this topic

My father was diagnosed celiac at 50 years old - i had biopsy done at age 10 - negative.

25 years later I have most of the symptons

Is it possible I have developed celiac disease in the meantime?

Absolutely, it can develop at any age. Please start getting tested. Have you tried a gluten free diet yet to see if it helps?

We have two celiacs in the family. My MD told me my other son (so far negative) should have a full blood panal done every other year or sooner if any symptoms develop. It can pop up at any time.
