Throat Issues

One of my symptoms of glutening seems to be the sensation that there is mucus lodged in the back of my throat. Almost like I need to constantly cough something up; however, there is simply nothing there. I've read this is also a sign of silent reflux and I tried treating it with Prilosec before being directed to a Dr. for gluten. I was wondering if this is a symptom anyone else has?

My teenaged son gets this. He does this grunting/throat clearing thing when glutened. I worry about the kids at school making fun of him for it, but he can't seem to help it. That feeling just bugs him too much. At least you aren't alone. It seems to happen at extremely low gluten levels. I guess it's a good early warning sign.
