  1. Your encouraging post about skin sensations and trigger points resolving gave me the boost I needed today. I am very discouraged (although I always have hope)and your words helped immensely. Thanks!

  2. Before diagnosis and while I was in the intial months of healing, this was a major symptom for me. It hurt to towel dry after a shower. That was when I knew my doctors were full of crap and I needed to get aggressive with finding out what was wrong. I remember curling up in a ball and crying to my husband one day because my towel and my sleeves and his touch...
  3. We know that endometriosis is suspected to have an autoimmune connection if not being an autoimmune disease in its own right. We also know that PCOS is related to diabeties and that diabeties can be related to Celiac. It does not surprise me that either of these conditions would respond to a gluten-free diet. The malnutriton that celiac causes can also have...
  4. I'm sorry about the glutening. It's always an awful mistake. I get primarily neuro reactions starting 45 minutes after ingestion. It peaks at days 2 and 3 then gets tolerable by day 5-6. I still feel poorly for 2+ weeks, but it's manageable. I hope you are feeling better soon and just remember that the potty problems are helping to rid that poison from your...
  5. Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. :)

  6. thank you so much for your posts. The chili was great and I'm back to using it again. (I had it on my suspect list after a couple bad reactions, but I later put the cc'ed corn chips at the top of that list).
  7. The label says several safe ingredients, then "spices". I know that mixed "spices" can be a red flag, but then I keep hearing McCormick's is safe. So, What is the verdict on McCormics "spices" as an ingredient in one of their bottled spices? It is the same size/shape as all my pure spices from McCormics in the little glass bottles. Chili is in the crock...
  8. I use a barium contrast at work for my job. The one I use is gluten free, but there are some that are not. What is the brand....Vari-Bar or Veri-Bar. I'll have to check monday. Call the CT place, and ask for the brand, product, date, and phone number. If the product isn't gluten free, you can ask them to order it. 2 of Vari-Bar's products have gluten...
  9. Don't pull out the pregnancy tests yet. When the body is stressed, it can sometimes delay ovulation which will, in turn, delay a period. I'm guessing your body experienced the same kind of stress mine did after going gluten-free and is just coping with the changes. I suspect it will right itself with a period in a week or two and then everything will get...
  10. Hypnogogic hallucinations. I have something somewhat similar that only occurs once or twice a month now that I'm gluten free. It was daily in the worst parts of my prediagnosis. Fortunately, my images are not scary. Unfortunately, they are not hunky men either. Just altered images of my bedroom and weird sensations for hours on end. Pre Celiac diagnosis...
  11. I feel even worse today. It is a full fledged glutening. I get the neuro symptoms, and clumsy. I hardly have digestive troubles. I'm so frustrated and worried about how to keep this up. OK, no more nail biting. I had done well until after a job interview and relapsed. Thanks for the info. SG Whiskers
  12. I'm in my 12th week gluten-free and still struggling. I've glutened myself 3 times for various reasons, and am in my longest stretch gluten-free at 16 days gluten-free now. Tonight I'm feeling pretty funky and wondering if I glutened myself or am having a food intolerance to something. Today's food: Stash Tea: confirmed gluten-free Almond Milk Hershey...
