  1. I so understand! My friend wants me to come to her daughters birthday party which is a cookout. Her and her husband was insisting they would have Nathans hotdogs and wanted me to be able to eat. I thanked them and said it was okay, I didn't have to eat. They were even more insisting...I had to explain their grill has had gluten on it. I don't want to hurt...
  2. I agree with many of the types of breads mentioned, but I'd love pizza rolls again. I was talking with my daughter last night about this thread and thought of that. I know the real version is junk, but I loved them every once in awhile. It wouldn't be my top pick, but wondering if anyone has a recipe for them.
  3. Nothing fancy, my daughter made turkey burgers! I'm adding coleslaw and jalapeno peppers. Strange mix, but a craving I'm having!
  4. hello all, I've tried the Woodchuck summer for the first time and it is awesome Love the different flavors they have. If you like hard cider, give it a try!
  5. Chicken sausage with green onions and red peppers on an Udi roll. Marinated coleslaw salad on the side....
  6. Everyone has different taste, I like Tinkyada. It's the best in my area. I dislike corn pasta's, just me.My son thinks the corn pasta is too mushy. I have a crockpot mac and cheese that I will post later. My children who do not have to eat gluten-free, like the Tinkyada with velveeta or american cheese and butter. I like to add cheddar, but they do not. I...
  7. I would just buy velveeta Unless you have some left over, however, I wouldn't want to touch the pouch. I'm that paranoid
  8. I read a post this morning that warmed my heart! You all are so great and supportive..Hugs to you all!

  10. Carrot sticks, humus, and a turkey sandwich on an Udi hotdog bun. I like to use the hotdog buns like a mini sub.
  11. I had a bad experience at one pfchangs. I had the same server "almost" CC twice with the sauces, unfortunatley, I don't think it was an accident to him. I stopped him twice on CC my sauce, however the second time I was so sick for three days. I now go to another pfChangs and the servers are so much nicer and I have been okay eating there. I think the other...
  12. I like Woodchuck as well. My favorites are the Amber, 802 and the Winter variety. In NC, I found a FoodLion that had a variety box during this past fall! It was great to try the different ciders. I'm not a fan of the Spring flavor out right now though.
  13. I agree! It wasn't until I took soy out of my diet that I had a painfree day.
  14. love2travel, could you share the shrimp recipe? I'm wanting to try something new and this sounds yummy!
  15. We are going out to lunch for my sons' birthday today. We are going to pfChangs and even though I was fine the last time I went (Nov), I'm still very nervous. I'm going later than noon, but it will still be somewhat busy. I'm having to go a certain time because of my sons work schedule. The last time we went, we all ordered gluten-free. Do you that eat...
  16. Love daylight savings! Gonna do some grilling soon!

  18. Whenever I do have a soda, depending where you are you can find Sierra Mist Natural or Pepsi throwback cola. They are made with real sugar. I also like Crunchmaster 7th Ancient grain lightly salted cracker. It has no corn, no nuts or soy! I'm not sure if you're eating any graines, but this has been the best for me.
  19. When I was on the whole foods diet, I was grain free as well. I started to use a lot of fresh herbs I had never used before to add flavor to veggies and meats. I felt limited at times, but it helped me.
  20. Ha ha..me too. I've tried some really nice wines since going gluten-free that I might never have.
  21. I have found nothing like Bud Light, however, I like ambers as well. Gluten free beers remind me of ambers. I did not prefer New grist and it is more costly for me where I live. I like Redbridge and Greens. I've seen others around, but I don't want to pay $9 for four beers (although I probably did in my youth in a bar!) when redbridge will do. I have found...
  22. I'm nut free, soy free, tomato free and cannot eat cantaloupe. Of course gluten-free. reading lables have gotten to be second hand now..a norm, however, having to move the lable down a bit to read tiny print isn't! I've been putting off getting glasses.
  23. I'm totally nut free. I am allergic to almonds and Brazil nuts too, so I just stay nut free totally to be safe. I've been wanting to try sunbutter, but was afraid to.
  24. Thank you!! I think it's the same way with a lot of us, I drool whenever anyone mentions peanut or almonds and tomato! I'm allergic....ahhh to eat spoonfuls of peanutbutter!!!!
