  1. Budweiser It would be great if they put a gluten-free beer on the other side! However, good to have a choice out too!
  2. I've had a few different experiences with Panera, which used to be my Sunday lunch spot. When I was newly DX, I asked if they would change gloves because the asst manager on duty refused to make my salad from the back. When I felt ill afterwards the girl who took my order asked if he had, he admitted he had not taken the request serious. That being said,...
  3. I haven't eaten at my local wendy's because I saw the cook make burgers, then add chicken to salads. He cut the breaded chicken for a salad and then the grilled chicken on the same counter with the same cutter. I know I could ask to change gloves etc, but I'm worried how the salads were prepared even before the chicken. Has anyone had success with a salad...
  4. I found Pirate Booty at AlDi in NC for $1.49 a bag! If any of you have one near by you may want to check. I found gluten-free rice crackers there in the spring that I liked.
  5. I was in pain for 11 months after going gluten free. I broke my diet down to whole foods, dairy free, nightshade free, and no grains at all. I was desperate to feel okay again. I kept a food diary and that helped. I found out certain fruits my body could not digest well. I was food allergy tested and that helped, but I still had the bloating etc. I found...
  6. Thanks! I forgot to mention that!
  7. I usually order the chargrilled chicken garden salad. I have asked the managers(of the three I eat at) and they tell me the salads either have a seperate room or station. I don't eat out much, but this is usually safe for me. Enjoy!
  8. fresh greenbeans with fresh cream corn. Havent figured out a protein to cook .
  9. I tried them on vacation and loved them! I've asked my local organic market to order them for me. I warmed them in the oven wrapped in foil. They were much more softer than what I've tried, i doubled checked to make sure it was gluten-free.
  10. At first I wasn't sure, but saw that the "celiac Diva" used these and reviewed them. They were very fast in answering all my questions. I'm gluten-free of course, but also nut, soy free. I have no problems with the lipsticks at all. I will tell you some are lighter on the lips than other. I have both and I love both. they have a few shades that are shimmers...
  11. I agree with Red Apple! I have three lipsticks and two glosses. I love that the shades are pink! They are super sweet, check out their page on Facebook.
  12. Wow, we've been doing this thread since 2010? How time flies when you're eating well I still enjoy reading what you all are making. I'm not feeling so well, so I'm making my safe chicken and rice soup.
  13. I've been trying a few things without much luck. Does anyone make their own tartar sauce? I need it also soy free. I'm looking for any sauces that would be great with seafood. I cannot eat tomato either. Thanks guys!
  14. I'm on the hunt for a really good mexican cheese that is great for cheese dip and or melted over refried beans. Any suggestions? I've tried a few with not so good results? It could be that I'm not doing it right. I want the white mexican cheese Help! : )
  15. So, I went into my local store today and they not only had this, but the Wallaby's cheese ups! If you haven't tried those you should! I bought the cider and it was cheaper than woodchuck. 6 pack at 6.99 It taste like the suckers at Halloween, very granny smith apple. Way tart like the suckers, but without the carmel. It wouldn't be my first choice...
  16. They didn't think it was my appenditics. However, thisis the same MD that gave me a smalole of Donnatal to try and it's not on the list @ glutenfreedrugs. She said she couldn't find anyother med to take it's place that was gluten-free. She told me to try it anyway, "it probably only has trace amounts"! At least she did some blood work and I got something...
  17. For the last month I've had some side cramping after I eat. Been trying hard to work around that. Recsently, I've started to cramp more, bloat and vomit after I eat lunch. Usually the pain and cramps start first. I came home from work yesterday and today vomiting. This time however, my stomach started to burn before i got sick. The nausea med seems to...

  22. This is a new product for me at my local store. I was excited to see it, but not the price. Has anyone tried this beer? Opinions? They have three different types. Thanks!
  23. My daughter is going to meetings and I go with her as she does not have her license yet. I am thinking of joing as well because I have gone too far with putting on weight after ging gluten-free. I've looked at most recipes and some can be made gluten-free. I only cook gluten-free....The only trouble I see is with the different flours we use, however, if you...
  24. Thanks, are they good about CC? I have a good market here at homelike this and they don't get CC in their organic resturant. They make it gluten-free, but I've gotten sick when I was firt gluten-free because they didn't wash the grill after gluten wraps.
  25. I'll be taking a trip to Ocean Isle NC and will be driving into Willmington for a day and thought to eat out there. I know of the chains there with gluten-free menus. The last time I was there I ate Chic fil a, but this time would like something different. I did a search of the forum, but would like some up to date experience. I know it is still my own risk...
