  1. Roast beef, chicken and cheddar sandwich on Rudi's original with canola oil mayo and spicy brown mustard. Served it with green olives and salt and vinegar chips.
  2. This morning we tried the new apple cinnamon rice chex. It reminded me of apple cinnamon cherrios, but it smelled like the Quaker apple cinnamon oatmeal.
  3. Meatloaf and spinach mashers for us tonight.
  4. Steak with baked potatoes topped with broccoli salad.
  5. Breakfast tacos...scrambled eggs and potatoes in a hard white corn taco shell and topped with shredded cheddar and ketchup. Served them with strawberries and bananas with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and dollop of homemade whipped cream.
  6. Tonight we are having steak and carrot latkes.
  7. This is wonderful to read! I am so happy for you.
  8. My mom had bought my girls Katz gluten free donuts, the cinnamon sugar kind and they were pretty darn good (not really dry or anything) and the best part for me was that one donut only had 3g of sugar. The company also makes custard filled donuts, jelly donuts, powdered donuts and other baked goods. They also have a sample pack on their site that you can...
  9. Breakfast for dinner (I think my girls would eat pancakes for every meal if I let them), anyway tonight we are making banana split pancakes and turkey bacon.
  10. For our super quick meal we throw some potatoes in the microwave and then empty out the fridge. Sometimes we will crisp up Butterball turkey bacon for the potatoes too.
  11. I personally will not knowingly buy anything that may contain wheat since I have 2 kids to worry about on top of my husband and I. For our spices we buy McCormick or Tones and make our own seasoning blends for those spices.
  12. For chicken we buy Perdue and Tyson. I personally prefer the taste of Perdue, but both work for us.
  13. (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))
  14. I found that Dove is better for my hair, it gives it more body and it feels healthier. Sauve dried my hair out even though I liked that there were more scents to choose from.
  15. I read a few, mostly with recipes or homeschooling ones. I usually find them through seeing a blog mentioned on these forums or when I was searching homeschool stuff for my daughter. We also just found a few American Girl ones that keep up with what is being released and when since my daughter has justed started getting into them. I guess that was the long...
  16. 100% understand that, it's the same reason I just deal with the low sugar (somewhere between 40s-50s) in the mornings because I don't want that feeling in my belly at night.
  17. If it was very low, something like orange juice will bring it up quickly and then you need something that will make it stay level (protein, fat and carbs). If that is the cause having a snack before bedtime like peanut butter on a rice cake will help keep your sugar level through the night.
  18. Not a recipe, but for meatloaf we use the same recipe we used pre gluten free and just sub crushed rice chex or crushed gluten free rice krispies for the breadcrumbs.
  19. Hypoglycemia wouldn't show on pretty much any test a doctor ran unless you were hypo at the time it was taken. The best way to tell would be to get a monitor, you can get one at Walmart for about $9 and check your sugar when you wake up feeling like that.
  20. How is your blood sugar? Those symptoms are common for me when my sugar is low.
  21. I think I'll be making them this weekend too. We use the Bob's Red Mill cornbread mix and even my dad and sister who don't like cornbread ate alot of it.
  22. We are going over to my mom's house tonight and we are making chicken parm (the chicken is breaded with almond flour and we are using homemade sauce), salad and Annie Chun's pad thai noodles as the pasta. For dessert I am trying Pamela's vanilla cake mix and I am making a peanut butter cream cheese frosting.
  23. Welcome to the forum. My youngest daughter had symptoms at birth although we didn't know that gluten was a problem until she was 15 months old so in my opinion it is entirely possible that your 2 week old could have symptoms.
  24. Tonight we are making burgers and fries. I found that if you soak the fries for 15-20 minutes in salted water then completely dry them, toss them with olive oil and salt before you bake them that they get really crispy. We kind of had our dessert before dinner (just a spoonful of ice cream), So Delicious Mint Chip almond milk ice cream, my husband found...
  25. Guess I know what I'm making this weekend
