    Maybe that single company never updated after the whole FDA thing? Or maybe they aren't based in the US? Wheat would have to be listed. Malted barley would be listed individually because it's an expensive ingredient they would want to list on the label proudly. Rye? Seriously... what is that ever in that isn't bread?     You can all come over for some! My husband was poking fun at me because they didn't have "nooks and crannies" when I split them. But they're light and fluffy and ohmygawd!     Aren't these the most beautiful thing in the world? Maybe not having an english muffin in 3 years has simply made me crazy, but the 20 minute wait to pop one open after taking them out of the oven is KILLING ME!

    Wow! English muffins are surprisingly easy to make. Now for the hardest part of making them. Waiting for them to rise. Very hard for someone with the patience of a toddler. Is it time yet?

    Zippers and velcro would melt in the microwave. Or... metal zippers BZZZZTTTT!!!!! Bwahahaha. I've had to walk away from some super adorable flannels because of glitter. But the buckwheat in the pads works just as well as an ice pack as they do for a heating pad. Just keep them in the freezer and microwave them if you want a heating pad! Or I tell people...

    I'll buy a rotisserie chicken or make fried chicken, both of which are perfectly fine cold or warm. I made cucumber salad for the last one I went to, although that was a gluten-free one that I didn't have to take all my own food. Still, it's something I would take a single serving of. I like marshmallow salad for dessert, my grammy makes it with cream cheese...

    I keep almost setting up an Etsy shop. Especially now that I'm crocheting My Little Pony hats. But shipping for the heating pads is outrageous so I keep talking myself back out of it but I need to buckle down and just do it in the next two weeks while I have a weekend "off" this coming weekend if I can find time.     I also use Real Salt. It's a rock, mined in Utah (so I also feel good about supporting a local business since I live here), and is simply mined, ground up, and put in a package.     I have used other things from that manufacturer in the past and didn't have a problem with them. I use tramadol now as my daily pain med, although from another manufacturer, and I can't imagine any circumstance under which I would pay for a name brand when a safe generic is available.     We're having fish and chips and they get floured then battered. We're having it again in two days and I asked my husband if he wouldn't be too paranoid to keep the flour for two days.     Costco is really good about taking products back. There is no reason you wouldn't be able to just take the rice back on your next trip there rather than giving it away and basically giving away all that money. My local Costco also sells Lundburg for a good price (as well as other brands) so it may be worth checking to see if yours has more than one brand...

    Tonight is breakfast for supper. I'll slice off some ham, make eggs, hashbrowns and if I get ambitious there will be pancakes. If not, we'll be satisfied without. I finally managed to find a pair of Rainbow Dash gala dress sandals today, and on sale for $5! Now I have my shoes for my dress and I just have to make my dress for comic con in the spring....

    Nothing looked good and neither of us felt like cooking. My husband was all "I feel like pizza." I was all "I feel like In N Out." So out we went! I always skip the soda and get a neapolitan shake with my meal, then I don't have to decide on a flavor.

    I don't know much about food from Peru but if it's similar to other countries in South America you may be okay. In Venezuala they make arepas which are delicious and naturally gluten free. I've also seen a wide variety of breads or wraps made with tapioca flour/starch that list various South American countries as their origin. I would say to jump into researching...

    I pulled my first purple carrot out of the ground tonight. It's purple top was showing just at the edge of the dirt so I pulled it because I'm impatient. It's short and stubby, but as fat as could be. I'm sure it'll be delicious. I'll feed it to my husband because he'll at least eat raw carrots so it's a way to feed him veggies and Freya is rather enjoying...
