  1. Awsome! Thank you for the link. Will do some digging as I see there are a lot of articles on the subject. Yeah, lectins are also a big one. I cut that out a few years back. Seems like plant foods do cause a lot of people issues. Makes one wonder.
  2. Late reply... That's interesting for sure. Thanks for sharing! I'll take a look. I've been having a rough time with a lot of symptoms... hence my vanishing, but stumbled across something in the process. Oxalates seem to be the cause of histamine intolerance and salicylate issues for many people. Which potentially can contribute towards a "leaky...
  3. @Scott Adams very interesting. Looking forward to seeing the result of your test and change in diet. And if transcribes into positive health changes down the road. Btw, if you still have issues with certain foods then I really suggest looking into IGG supplementation and CBD. For me it's been what took me out of being a tough case into feeling normal...
  4. @knitty kitty Thanks I'll take a look at it. Haven't tried AIP, but I know about it. Currently using Fast Tract Diet and it helped me a lot, but have made some poor food choices the past few months due to a lot of life stressors which I couldn't fix. @Scott Adams Thanks for the reply! Yeah, lowFODMAP works for many people. It worked initially 8...
  5. I previously did a few of those type of tests. In the end they never were conclusive, didn't change my diet into a direction which caused healing and honestly weren't accurate enough to be worth it. Many foods which showed up as being problematic weren't a problem at all and it would just narrow down food selection without big reason. Maybe they...
  6. I see your point. It's safe to say at this point it's, like you say, there is simply too little evidence to sway either way. Instead taking a hands on approach and eliminate problematic foods regardless of cause, and try them again later seems to be the best option. May I ask what you ate while on the road to cure? I can barely eat anything besides ...
  7. This has been a long debate for a while. Cyrex did some tests back in 2012 or 2013, and many claim them to be lacking. I stumbled across this research paper which was quite interesting and I feel is worth a read. It is, in fact, a big chance that our bodies do react to these foods as if it were gluten. I personally have that reaction to ALL grains like...
  8. Here's a video: And some links to the products: - https://microbiomelabs.com/home/products/megaigg2000 - https://naturaldispensary.co.uk/products/Mega_IgG_2000_120_s-10003177-0.html - https://store.drruscio.com/products/intestinal-support?variant=13560088395828 - (vegan option) https://store.drruscio.com/products/intestinal-support...
  9. So there are currently three which have been backed by evidence research. Dr. Michael Ruscio has designed one (intestinal repair formula), Microlabs has designed one which I ordered yesterday as it's shipped from UK vs US. There is one more I can't recall the name of. Immunoglobulins regulates the immunesystem in the gut and helps rebuild the mucosal...
  10. Hey! I am curious if anyone here has personally or know someone who has used or currently use Immunoglobulins G as an aid to support their healing journey. If so, how long did it take to get sustained benefit? The reason for asking is because my gut never fully heals and I swing between progressing towards better health, only to regress again....
  11. A little while ago I read a research paper based on the amount of gluten being stuck to kitchen utensils post dishwashing. It was neglible. I think it's quite safe to say as long as the items are cleaned properly it should be fine, but with porous, I'd be more cautious. Maybe sand down cutting boards like mentioned above, or pawn it off and get a new...
  12. Hello fellow celiacs. After reading many questions regarding this probiotic, I decided to contact the producer. Dolphius 9 has 3 strains cc'ed. Kyo has other branded bottles which are labelled gluten free. If you want another which is 100% gluten free, I suggest the lab tested (consumerlabs) Probiotic 5. It is designed for histamine intolerance...
  13. Yeah, eating without digestive enzymes is next to impossible. Need at least 1-2 each meal to have a fighting chance, else it comes out fully undigested. I try not to overcook the food, to keep the enzymes intact in the food and not having to draw as much of my limited supply. As for candida, treatment just doesn't seem worth it until I get my immune system...
  14. @Ennis_TX @Jmg @Rebecca S @cyclinglady Thank you all for the replies! Diagnose I was diagnosed at the age of 2, but due to peer pressure and lack of knowledge back then, I ingested gluten containing foods up until the age of 19-20 (the most at age 19-20). Mostly because of delayed reaction which came days if not weeks or months after ingestion...
  15. Hello! My name is Jamie, I'm 31 years old and live in Norway. Since 2011, I left Vancouver after a year of study and have been in and out of hospitals in Norway, but nobody can give me the proper tests to find the problem with my body. I can't work, I can barely eat and I am laying completely flat in periods. The list of symptoms is...
  16. I am a member of consumer labs. They test every product to make sure us consumer have a reliable source for supplements. They are a nonprofit and have been written about in just about every credible newsagency. They're the real deal. VSL is sadly not approved gluten free, and neither is align probiotics. However, according to a study on pubmed...
  17. I'm also kinda late, but I can relate. After a long long time of doing research I have wrapped my head around how the body works and how to eat properly to get good gains. Let me start off with this. If you think you eat enough then let me ask you this. Do you track your food? If you are serious about putting on weight you have to get serious about it....
  18. Hey guys, It has been a while since the last post, but seeing that nobody has come to any conclusion I figured I'd breathe new life into this thread. I'm also suffering from this horrible itchiness, and I am on a strict elimination diet (fodmap) because I don't seem to get all the way well after years of poor dietary decisions. As some of you mentioned...
