my white blood cell count has been low for years (I'm 29), and to the best of my knowledge no one else in my family is affected. I've been gluten free for five years now, and my wbc is still low--not dangerously low or anything though. I've never had a doctor worry about it, and I haven't shown awful symptoms related to it, so I just don't worry about it... -
Wow, I'm shocked about Port. I'm going to have to check on this. My boyfriend and I have had several varieties on various occasions and I haven't had a problem yet. I guess I'll have to be more vigilant in calling first.

Yes, I actually went to Qdoba and they said they had nothing acceptable for celiacs and refused to serve me--I wasn't pleased at the time because I was hungry, but I would have been less pleased had I been glutened.
