Sony Pictures Pokes Fun at Anaphylactic Shock

As someone who experiences analphylactic shock from celiac and mast cell disease, it is not a joking matter. I was taken by ambulance last week to the hospital. How is this desecretion of a childhood classic being allowed to even be considered suitable for children? They show bunnies plotting the murder of a human! Where are the censors who are supposed to protect out children? My grandchildren will not be viewing this travesty.

Food Allergy Bullying???  OMG.  

As a mother of allergic children, it is very offensive. Less about you and your "celiac", more about the message it is sending to children.

This article is one of those "news" things....I swear we have bots that pull half these just to "spark" debates and controversy. Most of them you just ignore. Amusingly the news "bot" has pulled things not even related to celiacs but because ONE SENTENCE mentioned the gluten free diet while covering a unrelated subject.

On a side note I think the big controversy of this Peter Rabbit show was that it is a kids show. And kids learn by mimic and watching. Showing them that making fun of someone with allergies and picking on them encourages the mentality that it is alright to alienate, make fun of, and try to do stuff to people with these issues.

I myself have been purposely poisoned in the work place by co workers.....boss dealt with it. I also put up with people making fun of me at farmers markets about gluten free. Not my choice and I have even come to look at myself as a different species then them (ALL my food issues make most SAD foods dangerous to me) and just sort of ignore it...they eat what they eat and it is just poison to me so I will eat what I eat we are just different creatures.
