Hi,

im 29 years old now and had colitis from been 20!

Never really tried any diets or anything and I currently take 4 mazazaline a day! But tbh I just tent to feel more bloated taking them!

I can eat then 2 mins later feel like I want toilet but sometimes just Mucas and Gas! No stools!

Is this normal?

I don't get any pain tbh just gas!

when I first started takin the meds it went for a long time then sometimes wonder if my body got used to them I just kinda deal with it now tbh thinking of trying some differant diets but I'm a bit worried!

Iv never felt that Ill or in pain but living with it for 9 years  is a long time n getting to point where I think a lot say don't self diagnose but doctors are useless I think I see a male doctor which feels intimidating as it is

any tip on diets gluten free or any colitis sufferers out their fancy a chat

Hello Nicole!

Welcome to the forum.  Have you been tested for celiac disease?  You should rule it out before embarking on a gluten free diet.

Enlarged lymph nodes in neck and groin with celiac are not uncommon. They can take time to reduce even after going gluten-free. Monitoring is key.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
