I have been wondering that myself. But if it matters, we wouldn't be able to eat chicken any more, either, because they get fed grains, too. I believe ground beef is safe, I eat it all the time. Now, grass fed beef is healthier, as cows aren't meant to eat grains. But that is another matter.

Pure beef is absolutely safe, no matter what the cattle feed was. This is also true of all other meat products. The meat is gluten-free, regardless of the diet of the animal/bird in question.

Beware of pre-formed burger patties, however--most have flour or bread crumbs in them--always read the ingredients carefully.

But 100% pure meat, whether ground or not, is gluten-free.

Bon apetit!

BUT, do check your chicken or deli meats, but chicken is often "pumped" or injected with marinades, juices, or thickeners and I have founds some that have wheat starch in them (tyson I think? I can't remember the name now, because I check them ALL when shopping now). (PS-I am talking about the meat, not the live animal, is injected with stuff.....)
