Another Recipe! Oatmeal Carmelitas,, Sooo Good

I know a few of you are now eating gluten-free oats. This is the most gooey, yummy recipe for using oats.Its a favorite at my house...

Oatmeal Carmelitas

1 c. gluten-free flour (I used Annalise Roberts Blend)

3/4 c. brown sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 c. gluten-free oats

1/2 tsp soda

3/4 c. melted oleo or butter, cool slightly

Combine in lrg.bowl to form crumbs. Press half of this mixture into an 8 in. square pan.

Bake 350 for 10 to 12minutes.

! c. gluten-free choc. chips

1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Mix together. Sprinkle over top of crust immediately after it comes from the 10-12 minute baking.

3/4 c. carmel ice cream topping

3 tbsp gluten-free flour

Mix together & drizzle over top of the nuts & chips.

Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top of the carmel topping. It will not cover the entire top just place it here n there.

Bake 350 for approx 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Chill for easy cutting.
