My Diet Is Not Like Most Of Yours

Some of the posts in this thread are really interesting..like a flower garden of varieties of colors, you have all put some nice interesting new looks at things.

Sometimes it is the combination that can make a big difference as well as what I eat. In the moring I eat mostly nuts and raw fruits..cashews and a peach and some grapefruit this morning...but I add just a little amarinth O's along with canned pineapple..For a tangy treat I soak raw pineapple slices in worcestershire sauce and down it at times..

At lunch I eat a high protein set up..Heinz beans with pineapple and worcestershire..Or, I'll have tofu with mushrooms and hummus..I might have some catfish or salmon at his time for an occasional sub.

At dinner I go for a high carb, low protein menu...Stir fry vegetables with potatoes and some raw zucchini...unsalted sweet potato chips are a later snack..

Between and after meals are shakes I make out of banana and/or mango and/or cherries and water..Once a day I sub the water with red grape juice..

I take my bone marrow jell with each meal...

So far, not bad...

      Celiac Emotional Healing Support Group
       
       
       
      Again you are invited to join Johnny Patout, LCSW for Baton Rouge's first emotional healing support group meeting to assist those living with celiac disease manage the emotional challenges so many of us face. Most often the emotional disturbances include depression, disinterest in normal activities, insomnia, grief, mood changes, anxiety, inability to concentrate, extreme concern about managing a gluten-free lifestyle and other emotional and behavioral challenges.
       
      The professionals at Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center created the emotional healing support group to give us a safe place to begin to process our emotions and support each other as we heal emotionally while managing celiac disease and the resulting autoimmune disorders.
       
      The emotional healing support group meets every Thursday, 6:00-7:00pm, at the Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center of Baton Rouge. Jamestown Avenue Counseling Center is located at 4637 Jamestown Avenue, Baton Rouge, Suite B-1. Suite B-1 is upstairs.
