HI Rickops,

Many of your daughter's symptoms mirrored my 22 yr old daughters. We too are baffled having similarly gone all over the world looking for an answer. The only blood tests that were abnormal were here celiac antibodies. She had no GI symptoms. I agree with Mamabear. You should look at www.pubmed.gov for motor neuron celiac disease articles. You will find a few articles. Honestly, there are not a lot reported cases of resolution of the problem by going gluten free but the following link will show you 2 successful cases. My daughter has been trying to reduce her gluten intake for about 6 months. It is very hard for her since her previous diet was gluten saturated. Her celiac antibodies are significantly lower but she is still not gluten-free. I beleive that I read that n order to be truly gluten-free means no more than 10 milligrams of gluten/day

Welcome to the forum, Greg! Look at the date at the top of your response...it says it was posted Posted Yesterday, 07:38 PM (that's my time, which is EDT). All posts have dates on them. Hope this helps.

      Enlarged lymph nodes in neck and groin with celiac are not uncommon. They can take time to reduce even after going gluten-free. Monitoring is key.

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.
