I developed nodular episcleritis two weeks ago. I was diagnosed 1 week ago and given prednislone drops with a return visit scheduled in a few days. The drops seem to be at least partially working. The eye doctor mentioned an autoimmune link.

Does anyone have any experience with episcleritis? Am I overreacting if I ask for testing for Anklylosing spondylitis, or ignoring the obvious if I carry on dealing with mild chronic sacroilliac pain.

I'm so prone to overreacting, but then denying my symptoms prolonged the celiac diagnosis.

I would love to hear some of you say sure I had episcleritis and never developed other autoimmune problems.
