Can Digestive Enzymes Reduce Hunger?

Okay, this is a long shot, but I think I read elsewhere on a Celiac website that the Papaya chewables were good for reducing hunger, somehow. I don't understand how. But what do you folks know about this? Can digestive enzymes somehow help the body with food? I mean, that's kind of their job, right? But in what ways? (And no, I don't plan on using these to deal with CC issues, as from what I hear, they're useless or worse for that)

Are there any digestive enzymes that don't make glutenings worse? Peptizyde, for instance, breaks gluten down into smaller chunks, giving the immune system more to attack. Are there enzymes that don't do that?
