I finally visited with the nutritionist my OBGYN referred me to just this evening (after playing phone tag with her for over a week). She pretty much said to just keep doing what I'm doing, that I'm on the right track and that it sounds like I have the bases covered between diet and the supplements I'm taking. I asked about some vitamin/mineral tests to try to streamline my supplements a bit. She agreed that it would be a good idea (we're sure my OBGYN will order whatever I need, she just doesn't know what exactly is needed), but she wasn't sure what all it would entail. She was going to look into it more, but asked me to continue to find out also. What would you all suggest be included in this round of bloodwork?

Thanks!

Jen

I would suggest that your ferritin level, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, and Vitamin D be checked, at the very least.

It's good to get your thyroid checked too. Depending on how cooperative your OB/GYN is, you throw in potassium, magnesium and zinc.
