Hi, my physician just told me that my Celiac Panel was abnormal and that I had Celiac Disease. He told me to come to this website and get on a gluten-free diet.

I looked at the foods that I have been eating and they seem to be gluten-free. What ingredients do I look for? I am at a loss of what to do..........

Thank you,

Tom :)

Try clicking on some of the main website buttons For information.

This is the link for gluten ingredients: http://www.celiac.com/categories/Safe-Gluten%252dFree-Food-List-%7B47%7D-Unsafe-Foods-%26amp%3B-Ingredients/

There are other main site buttons for menus, cooking, etc.

Shopping and cooking and eating out will be different now...I won't lie. Stick to whole, unprocessed easy to digest foods in the beginning - it is easier to figure out and easier on your body.

Peruse the site. Especially read about "newbies"....ask lots of questions!

See if you can find a local Celiac group in your area, it's helpful to get the local scoop on restaurants, stores, etc.
