Possible Cc In Corn Products?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

So I'm super careful about what I eat. I seem to get a DH reaction every time I eat a corn product. I only eat them from companies like frito lay or kraft that have allergy statements, but I still seem to react. Do you think its possible that there is some sort of CC going on- maybe when the corn is being processed? The only thing I've found that I don't have a reaction to is Food Should Taste Great gluten-free certified Corn Chips. Thoughts?

That seemed to be a problem for us too. I bought a bucket of corn to grind myself and found several grains of wheat in it. I was able to tolerate it if I removed that and washed the remaining corn before grinding.

I get a reaction to Fritos too. The ingredients are corn, corn oil, and salt. Seems pretty obviously gluten-free..but something about them "gets" me?

I had corn on the cob last night with no problems. I wondered if there was something in the way they process, or dry the corn that causes my symptoms?
