College Student Recently Diagnose

I was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease when I was 21, 2 years ago. I am still in college and still have a hard time believing/accepting it. I never had food problems before until I was diagnosed which is why I am so stubborn beliveing I have Celiacs, even though I got the colonoscopy and endoscopy to prove I do. Part of the reason is, that gluten free stuff is much more expensive then wheat products, and I am living on a college budget. what are some tips for living gluten free with little money. Also I like to go out to the bars with friends. I want to drink and have a good time but don't really want to pay 3 dollars more or so for a hard liquor drink when beer is much cheaper.

Eat a whole foods diet, thus your bill will become lower. Processed stuff is good and all but its better to eat it as a treat. I spend about $30 a week on food this way.

I am a college student as well, however, i don't drink. So i can't help ya there.

Have you tried Cider ? It's a nice drink and usually the same price as beer.
