Gluten-Free Cooking

Welcome         to our interactive gluten-free cooking class, brought to you by Karen         Robertson the author of Cooking         Gluten-Free! A Food Lover’s Collection of Chef and Family Recipes Without         Gluten or Wheat (Celiac Publishing, 2002).

I am a former board member         of the Gluten Intolerance Group and currently teach gluten-free cooking         classes in Seattle, Washington. Even though the celiac.com cooking classes         don’t take place in “real time” you do have the opportunity to email me         with specific questions that will be answered within a day or two.

When my children were first         diagnosed, I would have really appreciated the opportunity to ask an instructor         cooking questions via e-mail. I hope you find this to be a valuable service as well.

Each         month a different essential recipe will be featured along with an accompanying         recipe that makes a meal. We will also feature baked goods or bread. Feel         free to send me your recipe requests. Each recipe is shown as you would         find it in my book, this way we can keep it succinct. Since I always talk a lot in a class, I will place all of my comments either before or after the recipe, this way you end up with a short, to the point, recipe that isn’t full of extraneous information. If you are ready...let’s starting Cooking Gluten-Free!
