This article said that 60% of people with celiac have continued  damage and/or symptoms in spite of following a gluten free diet.  leads me to believe that one should be doing more.  This isn't a high enough percentage of success.  Over half fail to resolve their symptoms?   I want to find the root problems and solve them.  Drugs I would consider as a last resort.  That is what my association with Functional Medicine is all about.
