getting bloodwork done next month...  checking levels after 5 months....   and getting thyroid checked...  and basic blood work...

he was surprised at how few symptoms I had.. He said he expected me to be going to the bathroom 3 - 5 times a day rather than my normal 1 time a day ...

he said based on the amount inflammation i had at diagnoses he estimates 6 - 12 months for me to improve.......

he wants me to take a basic multi vitamin and vit D and b12 for a year...

he said the medical field doesn't know too much about celiac even today...

He's correct that many in the medical field still know far too little about celiac disease, testing, treatment, etc. You may want to go with a full B-Complex multivitamin, as well as mineral supplementation (get your iron levels checked before supplementing with iron).

The average time for a celiac to heal is 2 years.
