The Smell

Recommended Posts

I live with my hispanic family. Three big glutonous guys and my mom. Very glutony house. Is it ok to live where my mom heats up tortillas , pasta, and bakes a lot. will the smell gluten me. I know I can lock myself up in the room but the smell is still there. She is always in the kitchen so It's not that I can leave the house all day. what should I do? They can't give up all there food because of this. I am stays with a friend till sunday. I go home sunday and I am unfortunately not looking foward to it. I hear that you really have to ingest it to really get sick. Is this true?

Lisa, you won't get sick from the smell. I would stay away from flour in the air, though, because you can get it in your mouth and ingest it.

You do need to be careful that the gluteny food does not contaminate the food you're eating though. Yours needs to be completely separate from theirs.
