Gf Mail Order?

2009

2009 Newbie

Hi Everyone,

This group has been great, I have learnt so much in the last few days just by reading your stories and experiances. I went to the grocery store for shopping

it took me like an hour to buy a handful of things, since most of the stuff I am drooling over unfortunately I cant have or a gluten-free version of it isnt available (i.e waffles, pizza, doughnuts....)

I was wondering if any of you all know of any mail order companies that sell some of the hard to get gluten-free stuff, I live overseas so i guess i would have to have it shipped either via fedex or express mail, but if there are other international folks here let me know if you have had a similar problem?

oh btw those of you who care I managed to get today (gluten-free coocies, gluten-free pasta, gluten-free flour though i have no idea how to make bread:), and lots and lots of gluten-free rice cakes, unfortunaely could not find any cereal dunno if they even make them gluten-free?

Thanks again folks

They do--EnviroKids has a couple good ones that are gluten-free--they go by strange names like "Gorilla Munch" and stuff-- they're just different names for cereals that you'd probably know better as corn flakes, frosted flakes, or corn pops. I'm not sure if they ship overseas, but I'd just contact all the companies--phone or e-mail and see if they'd ship overseas...maybe they'd only do it in bulk, but at least you'd know.

Chebe bread offers alot including dry mixes and frozen doughs for numerous things. It has a very good taste as well. I'm not sure where they will ship it I know they ship it here but I'm not sure about elsewhere. Their website is www.chebe.com

Kinnikinnick foods is in Canada and I ordered donuts and man do they taste soo good. Again I am not sure where they will ship it to I know they ship here to the US . Their website is www.kinnikinnick.com

Also Foods By George has some great plain English Muffins and Cinnamon English Muffins. I love them both toasted. You might want to look them up too.

Also Envirokidz has some gluten-free cereal and alot of good gluten-free products.

Hope this helps you a little bit :D

Recommend the purchase of the food guide book from The Celiac Sprue Assn www.csaceliacs.org as it has a food company index with addresses & websites in the back pages.

I seem to do all my online gluten-free shopping exclusively at the Gluten Free Trading Company now. They have an AMAZING selection, and I've received wonderful service from them.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
