as to the gluten pill my natural medicine person gave me "gluten digestion" made by prosol (but you have to have a doctor get it for you, kinda stupid). even when i know im not getting glutened it seems to help some along with the other stuff im taking.

as to the cleaning issue, i know the gluten sticks and all but on pots and pans abrasive cleaning should remove it, and acidic cleaners (even vinegar will do it) should be able to remove it since they will etch the metal (removing a very small layer of the metal).

when i go home and eat from a mixed kitchen with no separation i some times have issues but i cannot say for sure they are from gluten, that being said i also get better when i go home after having issues usually, but it might just be stress related

Yeah, that's why I'd like a product like this. . . we have a mixed kitchen that will probably remain so. . .and only one 'counter' to work on - a SMALL island in the middle of the kitchen. I'm never QUITE sure. I always hope. .. but I can't tell unless I eat it and it does/doesn't turn my stomach into a rollar coaster.

It shouldn't be stressfull to eat!

ya i agree, im lucky my roommate here at school and i dont share utensils or anything and that he doesnt cook much (just goes and buys his food even though he has much more free time than i do) so theres not much CC issues.

maybe the best solution for you would be to buy a really big cutting board (like one of the thin acrylic ones) and just use that as your counter top, not the best solution but probably the easiest/cheapest for the best results you can get for now
