Happy happy everyone! :D

I was in my kitchen a few minutes ago putting together a couple pies for tomorrow and in the background the Today Show had on the "Joy's SOS Holiday" segment. (people call in and ask the dietitian questions) A caller said that she was going to a co-worker's home for Christmas and that the person followed a gluten-free diet. She wanted to know what to bring in terms of a side dish or dessert.

The dietitian gave a quick overview of what the gluten-free diet entailed and than gave some very good recommendations.

I just loved that the gluten-free question was just one of many different topics. :D

We saw that too Patti! More awareness..

But I was confused when she recommended wild rice pilaf. Most pilaf I am familiar with has small pastas.
