Going To A Coffeehouse For The First Time Since Gluten Free

Hi, everyone!

I've been gluten free for two weeks, and I'll be going to a coffeehouse for a meetup on Thursday. This will be my first time at a coffeehouse since going gluten free. What do I need to watch out for? I understand there may be issues with cross-contamination with some of the equipment, but are there any "standard" drinks that are generally safe?

The coffeehouse is called Westport Coffeehouse, and it's located in Kansas City, if it matters. I'll probably still call them ahead of time, but I wanted to get some feedback here, too.

Thanks for your help!

Sometimes the flavorings added to coffee drinks contain gluten. Just ask and maybe choose what you will have ahead of time. Good idea to call them and ask about ingredients in your favorite items. If in doubt, order plain.

I havent had any issues with a sugar free soy decaf latte. They will show you the bottles of syrup if you ask.
