Found this very interesting report on gluten. Explains why more and more people are having problems with gluten especially in the United States.

Who is reporting this and what are his credentials?

Unfortunately, there are lots of people saying lots of things on the internet. The deposed King of Nigeria sends me emails. My parents believe every story they see about women getting attacked for wearing a color or drinking a certain diet soda brand.

Haha it is a guy called David Getoff. He is involved with people like Paul Chek and the Weston Price Foundation. Basically what i got out of it is that the "bread/wheat" that we eat here in the United States is genetically modified to hell. There is a reason that gluten intolerance is blowing up in the news and doctors offices. We are eating hybridized stuff that is hard to digest to begin with. Just my take on it.

I just wanted to add. My doctor told me the same thing. He said that they enginered the grains to make them bigger so that the farmers could make more money on the grains. He said we all should stop eating wheat and expecially corn.

No, if they all stopped eating wheat and corn our gluten free food prices would go through the roof. Let them all eat wheat and corn and kill themselves off, that way there would be space enough to grow organic, non-GM food for the rest of us :D

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?
    • Aussienae
I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
